What We Do
Family Engagement and Support Educator Program
- Work alongside parents and caregivers in the home and community
- Support practical parenting strategies and daily routines
- Assist with implementing therapeutic recommendations tailored to the family
- Help improve emotional regulation, communication, and consistency
- Provide a non-judgemental, strength-based approach
- Observe and report on family progress, contributing to care planning
Each educator is supervised by an accredited Social Worker, who provides case oversight and ensures that support is tailored, coordinated, and effective.
Why This Matters

Our Team Structure
Family Engagement and Support Educators
- Deliver in-home support and capacity-building strategies parenting strategies and daily routines
- Work directly with families to model and guide parenting approaches
- Promote consistent, child-safe practices
- Bring a diverse range of professional backgrounds and lived experiences, enhancing their ability to connect with families and respond with empathy, insight, and cultural awareness
Accredited Social Workers
- Provide case management and clinical supervision
- Liaise with professionals and oversee coordinated care
- Offer theoretical frameworks, reporting, and guidance
What We Don’t Do
✘ We are not personal carers or babysitters
✘ We do not perform intimate care tasks (e.g., showering or toileting children), particularly where there are protective concerns
✘ We do not replace parenting — our work requires caregiver involvement
Additional Supports We Provide in This Program
- Access to online and physical parenting resources
- Use of devices and internet access during visits to complete training or access supports
- Support to engage in learning opportunities and build practical skills
- Regular updates to care teams, including progress reports and recommendations
Not Just Help – Capacity Building
We are not here to take over parenting. Instead, we:
- Empower caregivers to grow in their parenting role
- Provide guidance during real-life moment
- Reinforce therapeutic recommendations at home
- Focus on long-term positive change for the whole family
How Families Access This Program
Families can access the Family Engagement and Support Educator Program through a variety of referral pathways, including:
- Psychologists and allied health professionals
- NDIS Support Coordinators
- Child and family support services
- Schools and wellbeing teams
- Department for Child Protection (DCP)
- Self-referrals by parents and caregivers seeking early support
